I demonstrate ethical and professional behavior through both my work experiences and commitment to continued professional developemnt. I have chosen my resume and my Illinois Social Work Professional Development Conference Certificate (2024) as my "artifacts" to demonstrate Competency 1. My Resume reflects a range of roles across various educational, service, and professional settings that have required me to develop the skills of accountability, collaboration, confidentiality, leadership, and problem solving that will be essential for my future social work practice. Furthermore, my Professional Development certificate demonstrates my personal commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. As a upcoming social worker developing advanced practice skills, I understand that professionalism goes beyond technical skills, but it requires consistent reflection, humility, and accountability to continous growth/learning. Togehter these two "artifacts" represent not only my preperation for the field, but also my intentional development of my professional identity.
